Summary:

When Bella Swan moves to gloomy Forks, Washington to live with her father, she meets and falls in love with Edward Cullen who is secretly a vampire; Edward leaves Bella, believing that as long as she is with him, her life is in danger; Bella must choose between her friendship with Jacob and her relationship with Edward as Seattle is ravaged by a mysterious string of killings; having made her choice between living a fully human life or joining the world of immortals to be with her beloved Edward, Bella finds her future threatended; after becoming a vampire, Bella finds her and her daughter's futures threatened by a series of events with potentially disastrous consequences.
