Walt Lee wants to be an Arizona Ranger, but Captain Tom McDonough has a challenge for him to complete first. Rancher Bruce 'Wolf' Felton has long been suspected of rustling, but the Rangers were never able to prove anything. Since Walt worked on the neighbouring Lazy B, Captain Tom wanted him to get the proof they needed. If he were successful, there would be a Ranger badge waiting for him. The next day, Walt heads out with two other cowhands to take a trail herd to Concha to sell to the railroad. That night they are hit by rustlers. The herd is stolen and one of the hands is killed. Now, catching Felton is not just a ticket to join the Rangers. It's personal. Walt is determined to get his herd back and avenge young Ted Lewis's death by stopping Felton for good. |
